In 2020, we conducted online camps for teaching Tiruppavai and Thiruvembaavai to kids and we had the fortune of Sri Periyava gracing us with his live anugraha bhashanam during beginning and the concluding sessions of the camp despite His busy schedule in Margazhi month. Such is the importance our Periyava gives for Thiruppavai and Thiruvembavai learning and parayanam. Please watch the videos everyday & learn to recite. Online sessions on Saturdays & Sundays each week will start with the recitation of all the paasurams covered during the week followed by an interactive question & answer session with the participants.
Online sessions will be conducted by Dr. Shyam Panchapakesan.
Dr. Shyam Panchapakesan, a native of Thiruvaiyaru, Thanjavur Dt in Tamilnadu, is very passionate about following and teaching the values of Sanathana Dharma to the interested. He conducts regular shloka classes such as Devi Mahatmyam, Mooka Panchasati etc. Being a Vedantic student, he conducts classes on Vedantic works such as Vivekachudamani as well. He is currently doing his Post-Doctoral research at Yale University in Molecular Biology.
